PLAVO Theatre is an independent theatre laboratory from Belgrade, founded in 1995. For over three decades, it has developed contemporary and experimental theatre through artistic research, laboratory practice and critical exploration of human perception. PLAVO has produced over 30 performances, implemented more than 20 inclusive projects and 300 educational programmes, and built extensive international partnerships. Since 2017, its work has increasingly focused on inclusion and accessibility, while theatre has long been used as a space for expression, participation, connection and wellbeing.
