Data Protection Declaration
This privacy notice is provided pursuant to Article 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679 (hereinafter, for brevity, the “Regulation”) by ATER Fondazione in its capacity as Data Controller.
ATER Fondazione informs you that your data will be processed in the manner and for the purposes set out below.
Nature of the personal data
The processing will concern non-special-category personal data and will be limited to data that are strictly relevant and necessary for the purposes pursued. Specifically, the data that must be provided are identification details (first and last name), an e-mail address, and the data subject’s professional category.
Purposes of the processing
The processing is intended to enable the Data Controller to:
- respond to the data subject’s requests;
- send a monthly newsletter containing updates on project-related activities.
Legal basis for the processing
The legal basis for the processing is the consent freely given by the data subject.
Nature of the provision of data and consequences of refusal
The provision of personal data by the data subject is optional. However, any total or partial refusal to provide such data, or the provision of inaccurate or untruthful data, will make it impossible for the Data Controller, with regard to the purpose referred to in point (a), to process the request and, with regard to the purpose referred to in point (b), will make it impossible for the data subject to use the newsletter service.
Methods of processing
The processing of personal data may include all operations listed in Article 4 n.2 of the Regulation, such as collection, recording, storage, retrieval, consultation and use. In all cases, the limits and principles of fairness, lawfulness, purpose limitation, quality, relevance, data minimisation and transparency will be observed.
Personal data will be processed using automated tools for no longer than is strictly necessary for the purposes for which they were collected and will therefore not be subject to any internal organisation or indexing process.
Processing will be carried out directly by the Data Controller’s organisation or through external parties appointed as Data Processors. The data will be stored in electronic archives.
In all cases, data will be processed according to procedures strictly related to the stated purposes and in ways that ensure their security and confidentiality, through the adoption of appropriate measures to prevent alteration, deletion, destruction, unauthorised access, or processing that is unauthorised or inconsistent with the purposes for which the data were collected.
Disclosure and transfer of data
Personal data will not be disclosed to third parties, except to the extent strictly necessary for the proper operation of the service. Specifically, the only parties that may become aware of the data are the companies entrusted by ATER with managing the website, distributing the newsletter and/or providing IT support, after being formally appointed as Data Processors.
The data are not shared with the other partners of the Theatrum Animi Project, except in aggregated and anonymised form with regard to countries of origin and profession.
Only in the event of audits and checks concerning the proper management of the project the data may be disclosed, solely for that purpose, to EACEA, the European Union agency responsible for funding.
Rights of data subjects
You may exercise the following rights at any time:
a) access to personal data;
b) to obtain rectification or erasure of the data, or restriction of processing concerning you;
c) to object to processing;
d) to data portability;
e) to withdraw consent; withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent given before its withdrawal;
f) to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (Data Protection Authority).
All the above rights may be exercised by sending a request by email to privacy@ater.emr.it
The personal data voluntarily provided by the data subject will be processed by the Data Controller, without prejudice to the right to withdraw consent, for the entire duration of the Theatrum Animi Project and will be retained for a further five years after its conclusion, scheduled for 31 August 2028, solely for documentation purposes.
